Today is the first day of a Journalism Camp that I am attending in Norman, Oklahoma. It is called OIDJ - Oklahoma Institute for Diverse Journalism - and it is a week long program that allows students to immerse themselves into the profession.
I attended last year and liked it so much that I decided to come back again this year, I have made many new friends even though a majority are OU student helpers, however, that is not necessarily a bad thing.
